eBOS Technologies proudly participated in the plenary meeting of the RIGOUROUS project
On July 15–16, 2025, eBOS Technologies proudly participated in the plenary meeting of the RIGOUROUS project, held at the Clarion Hotel in Helsinki, Finland. The two-day event brought together all project partners to evaluate the current progress and align on upcoming milestones.
Day one featured comprehensive presentations from each work package, providing updates on technical achievements and aligning on the next goals. A key highlight of the meeting was the detailed discussion of the three use cases that will be demonstrated toward the end of the project. These use cases were described in depth, with emphasis on the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that will be used to assess the operational effectiveness and real-world impact of the RIGOUROUS toolkit. On the second day, discussions focused on dissemination, communication, and exploitation as the project enters its later stages. To maximise outreach and engage all partners, eBOS, which leads the exploitation task, presented a comprehensive exploitation plan. This session fostered alignment and sparked strategic conversations about the long-term impact, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability of results.
The RIGOUROUS project aspires to identify and address the major cybersecurity, trust, and privacy risks threatening networks, devices, computing infrastructures, and next-generation services. It introduces a holistic and intelligent service framework that leverages AI and machine learning (ML) techniques, capable of dynamically adapting to the ever-evolving threat landscape across orchestration layers and network functions. This smart framework aims to ensure a secure, trusted, and privacy-preserving environment for the next generation of continuum computing 6G services, spanning device-edge-cloud operations across heterogeneous multi-domain networks. It embeds security requirements throughout the DevOps lifecycle, transitioning into a DevSecOps paradigm that enables agile, secure integration for large-scale digital production environments.
eBOS Technologies plays a pivotal role in the RIGOUROUS project, contributing across multiple areas. eBOS leads the development of the AI-Driven Decision Making & Risk Assessment module, a machine learning module that enables automated, case-specific threat mitigation through multidimensional data analysis. Furthermore, eBOS oversees the evaluation of the integrated prototype in a 5G/IoT testbed, simulating cyber threats to ensure the system’s robustness and reliability before conducting live trials. Finally, eBOS leads the Exploitation & Innovation Management, defining strategies for the exploitation of individual modules and the full toolkit, identifying Key Exploitable Results (KERs), protection plans, and ensuring sustainability beyond the project.
