eBOS Technologies at BEYOND Expo 2026: Connecting Cybersecurity Innovation with Real Market Needs

BEYOND Expo 2026 has successfully concluded, leaving behind much more than impressive numbers, exhibition stands, and technology showcases. What truly remains are the people who met, the discussions that took place, the ideas that were explored, and the collaborations that began.

From 17–19 June 2026, eBOS Technologies participated in BEYOND Expo in Athens, Greece, one of the leading technology and innovation exhibitions in Southeast Europe. The event brought together more than 300 exhibitors from 11 countries, around 100 startups, and thousands of professionals from across the digital innovation ecosystem. This year’s theme, “BEYOND FRACTURES. Where Innovation Meets the Real Market”, reflected the exhibition’s core value: technology creates real impact when it meets market needs, business priorities, public-sector challenges, investment opportunities, and cross-border collaboration.

As part of the Cyprus cybersecurity community, eBOS participated in the NCC–CY  pavilion, organised in collaboration with the Office of the Commissioner of Communications – Digital Security Authority (DSA), acting as Cyprus’ National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre (NCC). This marked the second consecutive year of Cyprus’ presence with a national pavilion at BEYOND, further highlighting the country’s growing role in the European cybersecurity and digital innovation landscape.

Throughout the exhibition, eBOS showcased its work in cybersecurity, secure digital infrastructures, and EU-funded research and innovation projects. eBOS engaged with stakeholders from industry, public authorities, and the wider innovation ecosystem, presenting how its work contributes to resilient, trustworthy, and future-ready digital environments.

A key highlight of eBOS’ presence at BEYOND Expo 2026 was the presentation of the NERO Project, an EU-funded initiative focused on advancing cybersecurity awareness and resilience for SMEs. NERO supports small and medium-sized enterprises by promoting a security-first culture, offering cybersecurity awareness and training resources, and strengthening preparedness against evolving cyber threats. The project provides an advanced cybersecurity ecosystem that includes awareness programmes, cyber resilience support, gamified training, and access to cybersecurity resources through a dedicated marketplace.

Through NERO, eBOS contributes to the wider European effort to make cybersecurity more accessible, practical, and impactful for SMEs. At BEYOND Expo, the project offered an important opportunity to discuss how European research and innovation can be translated into real-world tools, services, and knowledge that support organisations in improving their cyber resilience.

The eBOS team was represented on-site by Dr. Charalambos Klitis, R&D Senior Project Manager, and Dr. Elisavet Grigoriou, R&D Program Manager, who welcomed visitors at HALL 3 | Stand A10/B09 within the NCC-CY pavilion. Their participation enabled valuable exchanges with technology providers, cybersecurity stakeholders, policymakers, researchers, and potential partners.

eBOS would like to warmly thank everyone who visited the Cyprus pavilion, engaged with our team, and expressed interest in our work and projects. BEYOND Expo 2026 once again confirmed that innovation is not only about presenting technologies; it is about creating meaningful connections, understanding real needs, and building partnerships that generate long-term impact.

eBOS’ participation in BEYOND Expo 2026 reflects its continued commitment to strengthening cybersecurity innovation, supporting European digital resilience, and contributing to the position of Cyprus as a regional hub for secure and trustworthy technologies.

In NERO, eBOS undertakes the key role of Technical Manager, overseeing the planning and execution of critical project activities. Beyond managing technical aspects, eBOS also leads the design and architecture of the NERO ecosystem. Particular focus is placed on ensuring seamless interoperability between all NERO components from the project’s outset. Additionally, eBOS coordinates the integration, demonstration, and evaluation phases of the NERO use cases, with the primary goal of showcasing the project’s technologies and deriving valuable insights. To achieve this, eBOS will leverage its commercial suite, WiseBOS, and infrastructure, to validate, evaluate, and demonstrate NERO’s frameworks within a FinTech organisation.
