eBOS Showcased DEP Cybersecurity Success Stories at the “Digital Europe Programme Info Day” organised by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy (DMRID)

On Tuesday, July 9th, 2025, Dr. Elisavet Grigoriou, R&D Program Manager and Dr. Charalambos Klitis, R&D Senior Project Manager at eBOS Technologies, participated in the Digital Europe Programme (DEP) Info Day, organised by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy in Nicosia, Cyprus. The event gathered leading national and European stakeholders to explore the vision, opportunities, and success stories emerging from DEP’s funding landscape.

Dr. Grigoriou delivered a compelling presentation under the “Success Stories” session, highlighting eBOS’ active involvement in three major cybersecurity deployment projects funded under the DIGITAL-ECCC calls: NERO, CyberSuite, and CyberSynchrony. These projects collectively demonstrate how innovative SMEs like eBOS are at the forefront of strengthening Europe’s digital sovereignty by delivering mature, scalable, and real-world-tested cybersecurity solutions targeted at SMEs, public administrations, and critical sectors such as healthcare, transport and finance.

During her talk, Dr. Grigoriou showcased eBOS’ technical leadership. These solutions were piloted across multiple EU countries and demonstrate tangible contributions to the EU’s Cybersecurity Strategy and Digital Decade target, particularly in skills development, SME enablement, and cross-border incident response. eBOS’ infrastructure investments, including a Beyond 5G/IoT testbed, AI/ML and software development labs, and an advanced electronics lab, enable the company to lead deployments and trials aligned with regulatory frameworks, such as the AI Act. Through these contributions, eBOS is translating research into deployment-ready innovation, empowering SMEs across Europe with practical cybersecurity tools and knowledge.
