eBOS Participates in RAPTOR’s 1st Plenary Meeting in Valencia

From 18 to 19 November 2025, the EDF project RAPTOR (Remote weAPon condition-based moniTORing System), held its 1st Plenary Meeting in Valencia, Spain, hosted by the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). The two-day hybrid meeting brought together all consortium partners to review progress, align on technical developments, and plan the next steps towards the project’s upcoming milestones.

eBOS was represented by Marios Sophocleous, R&D/R&I Senior Project Manager, and Frini Lazarou, R&D Project Manager.

The agenda featured a series of work package updates and technical presentations focusing on project coordination, risk management, data ethics and security, and early design definitions. Highlights included detailed sessions on technical alignment and dissemination & communication activities, which are crucial to the project’s impact strategy.

On the second day, participants explored the project’s main innovation areas, including AI-driven weapon condition monitoring, secure-by-design Internet of Military Things (IoMT), and printed sensors. They also discussed data collection campaigns and upcoming deliverables. As part of the meeting, participants also had the opportunity to visit the Antennas and Propagation Laboratory of the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) and the Electronic Development and Printed Sensors Group at UPV, where cutting-edge research supporting RAPTOR’s technical development was showcased.

In RAPTOR, eBOS plays a key role in driving the project’s technical success while ensuring that outcomes are effectively disseminated. Specifically, eBOS monitors the overall progress and quality of the technical work, ensuring that scientific and technological results align with the work plan and meet project objectives. The company also leads the Dissemination and Communication activities, manages the market potential assessment, and coordinates Work Package 6 ‘Detailed Design Definition’, focusing on the design and integration of the RAPTOR system architecture, user interfaces, and data management infrastructure.
