eBOS participated in the Kick-off Meeting of the TRUNSPORT Project

The TRUNSPORT consortium officially launched its activities during the project’s kick-off meeting, which took place on 29-30 January 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece, under the coordination of the Center for Research and Technology Hellas – Hellenic Institute of Transport. Partners from across Europe, including eBOS Technologies (Cyprus), EVIDEN Technologies SRL (Romania), the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (Greece), Deep Blue SRL (Italy), Incites Consulting SA (Luxembourg), the Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator (Greece), and the Societa’ per Azioni Esercizi Aeroportuali Sea (Italy), convened to align on the strategic direction, implementation roadmap, and initial priorities of this 36 month initiative.

The meeting focused on reviewing technical requirements and synchronising efforts across Work Packages to ensure a well-coordinated start. Discussions also highlighted the importance of compliance with the NIS2 Directive, with the Project Officer from the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre delivering a dedicated presentation outlining the European Commission’s guidelines and expectations. eBOS was represented by Dr. Spyroulla Mavrommati (R&D Project Manager) and Dr. Marios Sophocleous (Senior R&D&I Project Manager).

TRUNSPORT is a European initiative designed to strengthen cybersecurity preparedness, protection, and resilience across transport infrastructures and interconnected Operational Technology/Information Technology-based industrial systems. Central to this mission is the development of an advanced platform that delivers vulnerability and threat assessments, continuous risk monitoring, human-centric defence training, and collaborative incident response capabilities. The platform integrates state of the art technologies, including Generative Artificial Intelligence, to provide intelligent analysis and deliver tailored, actionable recommendations to the users.

eBOS holds a central role in TRUNSPORT leading the system architecture and contributing to the platform’s integration and development, while also leading the dissemination and communication activities. Through these responsibilities, eBOS ensures strong project visibility, and the long-term sustainability of results.
