eBOS participated in the DELPHI Final Event in Athens, showcasing innovative solutions for passenger and freight intermodality
On 18 June 2026, the DELPHI consortium gathered in Athens, Greece, for the project’s Final Event, hosted by the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) and SEAB at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). The event brought together project partners, transport authorities, industry stakeholders, researchers, and policymakers to present the project’s achievements and discuss future challenges and opportunities in multimodal passenger and freight transport.
eBOS Technologies Ltd actively participated in the event, represented by its research and innovation team, contributing to discussions on secure data management, interoperability, and data-sharing frameworks that have been developed throughout the project. The event featured presentations on DELPHI’s use cases, pilot demonstrations, end-user perspectives, and the project’s contribution to addressing current traffic management and logistics challenges through innovative digital solutions.
A key highlight of the event was the roundtable discussion on the future needs of traffic management, featuring experts from academia, research, governance, transport planning, and industry. Participants explored how emerging technologies, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative mobility ecosystems can support more efficient, sustainable, and resilient transport networks across Europe.
The event also showcased results from DELPHI’s pilot demonstrations in Madrid, Athens, Cluj-Napoca, and Mykonos, highlighting the project’s impact on urban logistics, multimodal passenger transport, real-time traffic management, and integrated mobility services. Through demonstration videos and end-user presentations, attendees gained valuable insights into how DELPHI’s innovations can support the future of interconnected passenger and freight mobility.
The DELPHI project addresses pressing challenges in passenger and freight mobility by creating a federated network of platforms to enable secure, seamless multimodal transport data sharing. By combining innovative tools such as UAS-powered monitoring, AI/ML-driven optimisation, and hybrid passenger-freight transport solutions, DELPHI seeks to improve interoperability and optimise transport networks across Europe. The project’s digital framework is being validated through four diverse pilot programmes to ensure real-world applicability and impact.
eBOS serves as the project’s Data Protection Officer (DPO), supported by data privacy contacts from each consortium member to ensure effective data management. With over 18 years of expertise as a software powerhouse, eBOS translates pilot requirements into technical specifications for the project’s technology development. Additionally, eBOS leads efforts in data management, open science, legal and ethical compliance, gender considerations, and the development of frameworks for secure, efficient data handling, as well as harmonized data specifications and reference models.
