eBOS participated in the Consortium meeting of the DELPHI project

The 3rd General Assembly meeting of the DELPHI project took place on December 11–12, 2024, hosted by Infineon Technologies AG (IFAG) at their Neubiberg campus in Germany. This pivotal two-day gathering brought together project partners and stakeholders to review progress, align next steps, and address critical milestones across work packages. The agenda included comprehensive presentations, workshops, and discussions on governance, technical development, predictive modelling, and demonstration activities.

Key highlights included an in-depth review of progress across technical activities, showcasing achievements in data interoperability, predictive modelling, and demonstration planning. A site visit and a social dinner on the first day enriched the networking experience. The second day emphasised pilot-specific workshops and introduced a guest presentation on data space enablement by the Mobility Data Space (MDS).

The DELPHI project addresses growing challenges in passenger and freight mobility, including urbanisation, fragmented logistics systems, and the rising complexity of stakeholder interactions. Current governance and regulatory systems treat passenger and freight transport as independent sectors, neglecting opportunities for integration. DELPHI seeks to create a federated network of platforms enabling secure, seamless sharing of multimodal transport and traffic data. By leveraging innovative tools like UAS-powered monitoring, AI/ML optimisation algorithms, and hybrid passenger-freight transport solutions, the project aims to improve interoperability and optimise transport networks. Its digital framework will be validated through four diverse pilot programs to ensure real-world applicability and effectiveness.

eBOS serves as the project’s Data Protection Officer (DPO), supported by data privacy contacts from each consortium member to ensure effective data management. With over 18 years of expertise as a software powerhouse, eBOS translates pilot requirements into technical specifications for the project’s technology development. Additionally, eBOS leads efforts in data management, open science, legal and ethical compliance, gender considerations, and the development of frameworks for secure, efficient data handling, as well as harmonized data specifications and reference models.
