eBOS Participated in the Consortium Meeting of the COGNIFOG Project

eBOS proudly participated in the plenary meeting of the COGNIFOG project, which was held in Madrid and hosted by ATOS. The two-day event brought together key stakeholders to assess the project’s progress, discuss upcoming challenges, and plan future activities. Representing eBOS at the event was Senior Project Manager Kyriaki Psara, who actively contributed to discussions on the project’s progress and future initiatives. The meeting focused on synthesising the work carried out in the development of the COGNIFOG platform, identifying gaps, and discussing the progress of trials. Additionally, dissemination and exploitation plans were reviewed, alongside the filming of project-related videos to enhance outreach and visibility.

COGNIFOG is an AI-empowered Edge Cloud Continuum designed for self-aware cognitive computing environments. The project aims to address the growing demand for edge-distributed infrastructure that enhances privacy, security, reliability, and resilience in IoT applications. By processing data closer to its source, COGNIFOG optimises network resources, improves response times, and ensures real-time analytics for smart IoT applications.

The project recognises the challenges associated with fragmented edge resources and seeks to establish an interoperable and scalable framework that allows for seamless communication across IoT, edge, and cloud environments. Through its innovative approach, COGNIFOG is set to revolutionise the way data is managed and utilised in real-time applications.

eBOS is leading the impact activities within the COGNIFOG project, ensuring pan-European exposure, stakeholder engagement, and market adoption. Additionally, eBOS plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and integrating the application layer components of the COGNIFOG platform. This includes developing the front-end dashboard to facilitate intuitive user interaction, implementing application APIs for seamless third-party onboarding, and training novel AI/ML algorithms to enhance real-time anomaly detection and data security measures. With its expertise in software development and AI-driven analytics, eBOS is committed to advancing the goals of COGNIFOG and contributing to the evolution of cognitive computing environments.
