eBOS participated in the 2nd General Assembly meeting of the REHUBS project
On 28–29 April 2026, the REHUBS consortium gathered in Sertã, Portugal, for its 2nd Physical General Assembly meeting. The meeting was hosted by Portuguese parters VOST and CIMBB. The two-day event brought together project partners to review progress, align on upcoming activities, and strengthen collaboration toward advancing rural resilience and adaptation solutions.
eBOS Technologies actively participated in the meeting, represented by Xenia Hadjikypri (R&D Project Manager), who contributed to discussions on the system architecture and the development of the RAAP Platform. The agenda included interactive workshops and working sessions focusing on the operationalisation of Rural Micro Hubs through co-creation activities, pathways from ideas to investment, and improving the communication and dissemination of project results. Partners also explored how climate and weather forecasting tools can better respond to users’ needs in a practical and reliable way.
The second day focused on collaboration between the project’s DEMO and Replication cases, enabling partners to exchange experiences, review tested solutions, and discuss how knowledge generated in demonstration sites can be adapted and applied in new contexts. These discussions supported the identification of practical next steps for scaling up solutions and enhancing the project’s overall impact.
The REHUBS project aims to support rural communities in adapting to climate challenges by fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange across regions. By developing practical tools and frameworks, including the RAAP Platform and RMHs, the project seeks to deliver sustainable and scalable solutions with real-world impact.
eBOS plays a key role in the REHUBS project, focusing on the development of digital tools which aim to improve climate resilience in rural communities. The key tasks and responsibilities include leading the creation of an integrated Risk Assessment and Adaptation Support Platform (RAAP), which includes the identification and integration of various partner tools, data sources, and components. These includes modules such as an AI chatbot, Climate Regional Projections and Risk Assessment Tool, Advanced Weather Modelling, Framework/List of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) for Rural Resilience, Online Academy, and Wildfire detection and forecasting outputs.
