eBOS at the u201cAR-in-a-Boxu201d Cybersecurity Awareness Event for SMEs
On Monday, July 7th, 2025, Dr. Elisavet Grigoriou, R&D Program Manager at eBOS, participated in the u201cAR-in-a-Boxu201d awareness-raising event on cybersecurity for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), held in Nicosia, Cyprus. Organised by the Cyprus Information Technology Enterprises Association (CITEA), the event introduced a practical framework for cybersecurity awareness and communication tailored for SMEs.
u201cAR-in-a-Boxu201d is an initiative designed to help SMEs navigate regulatory frameworks and implement effective cybersecurity awareness programmes. The event offered participants a comprehensive overview of cybersecurity communication strategies, gamification techniques, and crisis response protocols. It also presented the results of a pilot implementation conducted in Romania, showcasing real-world impact and replicability.
Dr. Grigoriou actively engaged in the sessions, focusing on programme design, communication strategies, and gamification as essential tools to enhance employee engagement and resilience against cyber threats. The event also facilitated dialogue around practical tools and guidance that SMEs can use to build cyber-aware cultures and respond effectively in times of crisis.
